N.Venkatesh, a Pharmacy Graduate having an Industrial Experience of about 24 years in India and Abroad in Designing a Green Field Project and Up gradation of a Running Plant Complying to the International Regulatory Standards such as PIC”s, UK MHRA, TGA, USFDA Standards.

Experiences

  • 1991 –Pharma Fabricon Pvt Ltd, Madurai,  India – Plant Expansion Project for injectable formulations-   Installation , Commissioning  of a Small Volume Injectable Plant with the guidance of External Pharma Consultants.

  • 1993 - Baxter Chennai Plant Greenfield (Formally known as R.R Medi Pharma Ltd, Alathur, Chennai) actively involved in the Project Activities of Large Volume Parenteral Plant using Blow Fill Seal Technology (Rommelag Machines). And installed, commissioned the Plant Successfully.

  • 1997 - Mount Mettur Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Gummidipoondi, Chennai - Undertook the sole responsibility of shifting, the 50 Years Old Sterile & Non Sterile Solid & Liquid Dose Formulation Unit from the Chennai City Center to the Gummidipoondi Industrial Zone. Independently handled the Project with a group of Support Engineers & Pharmacist. Completed installation, commissioning and start up of Production with automated machines such as ALP of USA etc in the year 1998.

  • 2001 - Kotra Pharma (M) Sdn Bhd, Malacca, 2nd biggest public listed company in   Malaysia -  Successfully Installed, Commissioned & Qualified the Sterile Powder Cephalosporin Injectable Plant  for producing their own branded  Cephalosporine Powder Injectable product for the South East Asian Market & the Liquid Injectable Line for producing B.Braun Sterile Liquid Injectable Product with the support of  a good Technical Team.

  • 2006 – Kotra Pharma (M) Sdn Bhd, Malacca, Malaysia - Developed Conceptual Design & Process Flow for Oral Solid Dosage, Oral Liquids, Tropical Preparations, Sterile Gels & Ointments, Liquid & Powder injectable line for the Kotra’s new expansion project, started  technical  discussion with Foster Weiler, Pharma Plan etc for nomination of consultant to review the self developed conceptual design.

  • Documentation Services Establishment of QMS to Hagecapsules, Sungai Patani, Halalgel  Malaysia.

  • 2007 January – Pharmaceutical Solution Technology, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Had a Technical Audit Visit to the company & Joined as the Project Manager to retrieve the failure Large Volume Parenteral Plant Project using Blow Fill Seal Technology from USA. Observed and reported that the location of the Plant has environmental problems; the management decision was to stop the project. Converted the Facility to Produce Antiseptic & Disinfectants Products for Hospital Use.

  • 2007 June To Dec 2009 - MEDOPHARM Pvt Ltd, Guduvancherry, and Chennai – Joined as the Factory Manager and handling the MHRA Approved OSD Plant meant for producing Beta-Lactum Solid Dose formulations for UK Market, other countries. Additional responsibilities of Project handling are to develop conceptual design drawings for OSD & Injectable facility for regulated market.

  • 2009 April provided Concept Layout & Project Documentation for The State Company of Drugs Industry & Medical Appliances, Samarra, IRAQ - 2 LINES OF SVP GLASS AMPOULE .

  • Raw Material Sourcing for CAPSULINE, DUBAI. Gelatin. from India and China.

  • 2010- TENAMYD PHARMACEUTICAL CORP, HCMC, VIETNAM, A Green Field Beta Lactum Cephalosporin Unit, Technical Consultant. Targeted for MHRA.

  • 2010 KOTRA PHARMA Market Study in India & Regulatory Service  for the Neutraceutical Products Appeton.

  • 2010 ROYCE PHARMA MALAYSIA SDN BHD,  MALAYSIA. Technical Consultant from Sep 2010 to Sep 2011. Upgraded the Old OSD Facility, Established Quality Management System, Obtained PIC”s / NPCB License.

  • Medical Devices  Companies , Excel Lens, Chennai,  Shotoni Rubber Products Provided Services for Plant Upgradation & Implementation of Schedule Compliance cGMP. IOL Appasamy Associates. (New Plant).

  • Technical Consultant for Medopharm Private Limited, Chennai, India.
